My name is Kim and I’m the mother of two adorable children, Ben and Kelsey. Ben was born in 2007 with Menkes Disease, a copper processing disorder. We have been so incredibly lucky with Ben’s little life so far. He is beating all the odds of his prognosis and smiling all the way. Kelsey, his sister who was born in 2013, was born with hydrocephalus and is in the midst of overcoming many challenges. We have survived all these years on hope, luck and a whole lotta love.
“He who has health, has hope; and he who has hope, has everything.” – Thomas Carlyle
My favorite part is where you say you choose to learn from the kids, day by day, and not the internet. Genius. And reading about how awesome Dave is. This really is tremendous, Kim.
